Moreover, the two countries have had a long history of cultural and economic exchange. In today’s stress-ridden world, increased cooperation between the two largest democratic economies of the world creates a positive message for their people.

Following the 6th Intergovernmental Consultation held in May last year, the leaders reviewed key outcomes. They discussed ways to strengthen defence and economic cooperation, increase talent mobility, and expand science and technology collaborations. A fourth meeting between the two leaders in the last year underscores their commitment to furthering Indo-German relations.

In Rashtrapati Bhawan’s forecourt, he was welcomed ceremoniously. CEOs and business leaders from both sides also interacted with the two leaders. As members of the G4 for UNSC reforms, India and Germany also work closely at multilateral and international forums.
